Since in 2019 where i started cultivating mushroom , I have been on a journey of innovation, perseverance, and agricultural transformation. I began mushroom farming without attending any specialized mushroom business course. My only academic background was in agriculture, which I was a student at the University of Rwanda. Despite this, I pursued mushroom cultivation with determination.
But everything changed in late 2024.

I was fortunate to travel to China for a specialized training in Juncao Technology — a breakthrough innovation that uses Juncao grass as a substrate for mushroom farming and as a sustainable source of animal feed. Inspired by what I learned, I returned home and began cultivating Juncao grass on nearly one hectare of land.
Within just a 6 months later, I experienced the impact firsthand which is greater than what i got all years before attending this course.
We began using Juncao grass to produce high-quality mushroom seeds and also started selling Juncao cuttings to other farmers. The profits came quickly. In just six months, I was able to purchase a Juncao chopper machine, earn new land of cultivating juncao grass and install new equipment in our mushroom incubation rooms.
This technology is a game changer. Thanks to the professor Lin zhanxi and his Team and china rwanda cooperation, according to what we earned in this 6 months we expect earn $20,000 USD to launch a new animal feed production project which will be completely funded by our farm’s Juncao-based earnings.
Today, Philemon Farm produces 15,000 mushroom seeds every month, a scale I couldn’t have imagined just a year ago.
If you are a farmer or entrepreneur looking for sustainable, high-profit agriculture, I strongly recommend learning and applying Juncao Technology. It has transformed my life — and it can transform yours too.
